Question mystery box of unknown function

02 ram 3500 vin c power seats, heaters, windows, slt interior. Have removed drivers seat for repair (not easy, for bolts my foot) and removed center seat required. Found white box with electronics attached to seat plate. Any ideas what it does? Is it an alien device to mark the previous owner as already abducted? A government box to cause the truck to return home when commanded? My chrysler dealer has no idea. search of number on connector returns nothing.

Attached to bottom of center seat

Thank you for info. Can I just short wires in plug to get light off dash as the switch in the drivers buckle has a problem and the light comes on periodically?

I think it does more tricks than just that though. You *might* be able to trick it into thinking the switch is close with a jumper though... Get a service manual for your truck from here, wiring diagrams are in section 8W. See if the switch in the buckle is normally open, or normally closed.... (or, use a meter to test that aspect of it all.....) and jumper/cut as necessary.

Any Idea where this box appears on the diagram? As with most diagrams I have found, The location is a guessing game if not obvious like head light. And as usual no 02. But thank you, should provide some help.
