Default Scan tool for fuel sync

I read through some of the stickies ect and I do apologize if this has been addressed in one. I had no luck finding the answer and that is what quality yet affordable scan tools are capable of setting fuel sync.

I would love to go all out of a snap on modus or something ect for several thousand dollars but im not running a shop and its just not practical. I have looked in the alfa obd for programming the trailer lights on the wifes durango but it appears alfa obd only goes back to 2005MY Dodge

The Snap-On MT2500 should suit your needs for the truck. I believe it won't do 2006 or newer vehicles though.

If you have a second gen(5.2/5.9) you don't need a scanner, TDC #1 cylinder on the COMPRESSION STROKE set the distributor like this...

Of course if you have a scanner it will be more accurate. This should be in the sticky section if it's not already.

Yea I've been down that path before, I never could get the truck to run right though, I've seen some youtubes on using a volt meter to set it also
