That's actually about what I would expect to pay.... They don't talk about auto or manual there at all though....

what do the automatic obd1 pcms do? I know 96+ have a 4k rpm limiter if you bypass them I read a post some where that some one used an aftermarket mopar obd1 pcm that was for an automatic and did not seam to have any problems I did not read the whole thread though

TCC and O/D are controlled by the PCM on OBDI vehicles. Easy enough to put a couple switches in pressure ports to make it 'automatic'.....

will all the connectors from the 98 engine plug into the 95 harness and what do I do about the throttle body linkage?

98 engine will be missing one of the temp sensors. (the one for the gauge) The intake isn't even drilled for it.

For the throttle, it's cable operated on the magnums. Just need to the correct cable.

can I drill the hole for the temp sensor or do I need to swap the intake? what is the best option get a 98 throttle cable get a 95 v8 throttle bod? can I pull the throttle shaft out of the v6 throttle body and put it in the v8?

95 and 98 should use the same throttle cable. (might be differences by engine size, but, I don't think so.)

The sensor hole is NPT thread, so yeah, you can drill and tap it, just use the correct tap. I do believe the boss for the sensor is still there.
