How many miles do you have on your truck!

I've seen worse......
When I was working at the dealer, we had a guy come in with his older truck, said he was having real issues turning to the right..... I took it around the lot, and sure as shootin', turned left great... (a nascar truck?) turning right took some serious effort..... Popped the hood, and found a half cooked 'coon jammed between the steering shaft, and the exhaust manifold.... yeah, it smelled pretty bad too......
Good luck with your truck. I have NEVER seen one with that little mileage on it.
Condolences on the passing of your dad.

266,000 just put in the 2nd replacement battery, just put in the 2nd cat, did the cat back when I did the 1st replacement cat, new rad, water pump, ignition coil, needs a heater core & ac condenser, needs right front wheel hub assembly, new fan clutch, u-joints, stabilizer bar, tie rods, sway bar, plenum gasket/plate..part replacements in the alternator today...my biggest problem was # 11 & 12 IM bolts!!! Then just regular stuff from shocks the the stereo...Aside from those two IM bolts I really don't view everything listed as problems just the fact it's a 1998 w/266k so it's more of an inevitability

483,326 miles on the clock of my 98 Ram 3500 CTD
205,345 on the 92 Ram 150
On the CTD since I have owned it I have not had that many problems, I rebuilt the front end, replaced the original computer when it died, replaced the stock shocks (Had over 400,000 miles on the rear shocks), replaced the vacuum pump when the power steering pump failed and wiped it out.
The 92 ram 150 has had more problems than I care to list but needless to say almost all electrical items have been replaced, new wiring harness, rebuilt transmission, fixed the plenum; and yet how does it repay me it does not want to even fire up
