lug nut size???

Default lug nut size???

ok trying to buy some rims off of a 05 dodge 1500 they are aftermarket and they are the same 5.5 bolt patterenbut does it matter that his is a 9/16 lug and mine is a 1/2 lug!!?????? I have a 1997 ram 1500 4x4. can i just put a different lug on it??

i think u just have to use the new style ram lugs and u should be fine

thanks would you know if they are the same bolt pattern?? i think they are both 5 on 5.5 but not sure.

my truck is a 1997 ram 1500 and his is a 05 ram 1500.

They are aftermarket rims.

if the overall pattern is the same, and the new wheels have the scalloped out lug nut centers, and as long as your 1/2" lugnuts fit properly in those scalloped out holes and catch PLENTY of wheel material and center the lug hole over the stud, and don't come anywhere remotely close to pulling through, then it should be ok.

well i know u can put those new style 20s on our 2nd gens so they are 5 on 5.5 but i think they use bigger lugnuts i dont think our lugnuts will work because they are 19mm and i think they newer styles are 21 as i remember from work but bolt pattern is the same

the rim is 18x9 will it also be hard to find a tire to fit it?
