it's all personal preference I guess. I've got35's on my h3 with stock gears and 35's on my JK Rubicon with stock gears and have no problems with any of them. I also don't expectto race many cars off the line either.

Also, what is the weight difference between your Jeep and a Dodge Ram. The weight of these trucks makes a big difference when selecting gears, not just the size tire you want to run.

look at my hummer h3 in my siggy...It's an 06 so it has the 3.5L 5 cyl and I have had 35's on it for a year now with no problems. Don't see why your v6 ram would have a problem. All the little import trucks and jeeps you see on the road with 35's have smaller motors than your ram....you'll be fine.

i did a gear swap on mine about 6 months ago
im sitting on 38's with 4.56's
still not enough i tihnk, but she will smoke them on demand....
i HAD 3.55's in there.... EXTREMELY hard on driveline. change your gear ratio if even
going to 35's, i say go to 4.56's if stock was 3.55, or 4.10 if stock was 3.73.

not from experience mind u but if you want to got 35's AT LEAST re gear to 4.10 gears and USE them for mudding, play, etc. for a ram....otherwise your gonna start wrecking s*#&. WAAAAY too hard on your drivetrain nomatter set you have......H3, import, stock or whatever not if its not geared right its not gonna last long.....dont belive me ask anybody who works on rear ends for a living. 35" tires is alot of tire to push with a stock v6.....regear and you'll be fine.

You left out that your wanna be hummer has lower gears and so do the jeeps and toyotas. You have to do a gear swap or you're gonna kill it.
