will it push 35s
i just put 35's on my truck yesterday i havea 98v8 318 and still have the stock gears in there but there is a noticeable loss of power, i plan to change them out pretty quick for some 4.11's. so your v6 will probably turn them but you wont be setting any speed records and you will be using more fuel and having a 2wd its even cheaper for you to change them out
The rolling Distance and the weight. A 35 weighs alot pick one up someday. The overall height is only 4 inches higher but the distance traveledto make one revolution is helluva alot more.
look at my hummer h3 in my siggy...It's an 06 so it has the 3.5L 5 cyl and I have had 35's on it for a year now with no problems. Don't see why your v6 ram would have a problem. All the little import trucks and jeeps you see on the road with 35's have smaller motors than your ram....you'll be fine.
Had a 99 ram 1500 3.9L. Ran 315 MTR's with 4:10 gears, auburn Limited slip, MSD 6, headers, flow, trans cooler, cold air intake, and royal purple in diff and engine. The guy I sold it to got 21 mpg on his way to Chicago. Pulled a full size u-hual car trailer with a VW on it from Waco, TX to Houston and used a little more than 1/2 tank. It even pulled good through the Texas hills.

it's all personal preferance I guess. I've got35's on my h3 with stock gears and 35's on my JK rubicon with stock gears and have no problems with any of them. I also don't expectto race many cars off the line either.
