Buddy of mine has a 98 dodge ram 1500like mine 2wd single cab. He came down from Texas today and let me drive his truck. Oooh it was so good to finally drive a dodge cuz i miss my truck so much... Im stuck with a 2004 f150 w/ 20's on it... But anywhotheres a guy in town that has a 5.9 Indy Ram I guess thats what its called. Runnin on 125 shot of nos. I dont know what else he has thats the only thing i remember. So i line up with him on a road called 31 highway from a dead stop and he couldnt touch me at all!!! i was impressed and looked at my friend and asked what the hell did he do to this truck?
4:10's, M1 Intake Manifold, 52mm TB, Reflash, Bigger Cam, Auburn Posi Diff, R/T heads ( i think thats what there called), Dual Flowmaster exhaust, No cats, 180 deg thermostat, Ram Air Functional Setup, Underdrive pulleys, and Headers. Wow it just was an awesome experience to be in!!! And for those who heard about my truck i will have it back the 22nd!! I cant wait! AGH damn ford trucks......

 

Sounds like some fun...glad to hear your truck will be back soon. Hopefully nothing like that will happen again.

Yeah i went and looked at my truck and they are getting after it! They are doing every inch! They took off the front bumper, tailgate, back bumper is still off, door handles, cargo light, taillights, and headlights. They are putting Halogen headlights in Altezza Euros on the back and a black grill. Also my roll pan is STEEL YAY! Last time i saw it though they circled all the dents and marked all the scratches but i called in today and they said it will be done with all the dents andit will be all primered. They said they start paint Monday.The total Estimate w/o insurance would have been aorund $3,900 Im no expert at insurance but i bought my truck for $3,500 so i would be paying more than i payed for the truck if insurance didnt cover it under a 500 dollar deductable. I love insurance...... Ill keep ya updated im gonna try to get sum snapshots today.... thnx!!!

 

Good to hear it's getting fixed right. You must be dealing with Progressive. Those sob's stuck me with a ferd for two weeks. I hated to go anywhere.

id think with all your mods vs a 5.9 with a 125 shot, youd atmost be even with him...

Thats whati thought i love indys or ss/t i just wish i had the 360 in mine so i can get that little more! Also i wouldnt have to worry about putting the stripes on myself or buying a aftermarket tac. O well for 3,500 what can you argue. its a 98 and it only had 85k on it. so i guess i split a good deal. Look on the bright side tho i bought it from my nextdoorneighbor cuz it was his dads and he passed away. At least he can see it everyday!
