Truck got Vandalized...Recommendation Needed!
bribo.. black will definately contract the white of your truck quite nicely..
i have both the rockers and bed sprayed over rails..
and i've considered, in a couple years, or major scratches, i'll linex the whole truck white, and have my stripes linex'd black.
too bad revenge cant be served cold.. .. someone needs to be slaughtered for damaging a dodge like that., even if it was to support anti-war.

I was thinking of doing something like this, but I was going to use the paint on stuff for the bed. I want to put it on the lower part of the sides, where the rust is getting fairly bad. if you look at my pics, the area where my step is, about 2" up
What do you guys think? seems like a much cheaper way of protecting the truck. Also, I think the black would contrast well with my white truck.
P.S. that "truck looks really bad ***, I like the texture!

Ryan; if you could get me some pics, I'd like to see what the stuff that you're talking about looks like finished.
Sinister; I like the way yours looks, though I didnt want to go that high on mine. It really gives me an idea of what mine will look like because our trucks are so similar.
here ya go bribo
it's a flat black thow, however it says its paintable so im gonna go over it with gloss black to make it look better.
all i did was used a wire wheel on a grinder where there was rust to take it off, then quickley went over the rest to scuff it, them primed the areas where i went to bare metal (rusty spots) with a rust inhibiting metal primer i didet prime the paint cuz the stuff says it can go right onto paint. then sprayed the stuff on, gotta be carefull not to spray it too thick at once or ittl run bad i did 4 coats leating it dry fully in between. its been on there since last fall and no problems so far

Well, only bit of good news I've had in this entire process.... Talked to 4wheel Parts today regarding the Road Armor bumper, they are going to refund my money and use it towards the purchase of the correct bumper. Despite it being a year old and some minor scratches, they've gone out of their way to make it right.
I'm considering getting the entire truck done in Line X now, going to get a quote, but want to add some color somehow. Thinking of adding red racing stripes down the center and looking for a good idea on some sort of simple design for the sides. I think adding some color would make the texture look much better. Any ideas?
