Try replacing them with an SKF bearing. I have used them for all my bearing needs, and they are good!

My father just replaced his for thesecond time. Hes got 290,000 on his. They were really bad but never made any noise. So if you average that out its 145K per set (Stock, replaced, now replaced again) So with that said, he shouldn't have to change them again until he hits 435K. But he only has 265/75/16 on the truck (Stock was 245/75/16). Never had any bigger tires. Also, my truck has 100,000 on it w/ original wheel bearings. So i would say you have something else wrong with the front end of that truck. Just my 2 cents tho.

bigger tires will destroy bearings. They took my wheel off and said my bearing assembly was melted on the wheel. replaced the assembly, good as new. thats what happens to a truck that stays in the mountains all the time. salty and sandy roads = rusty everything. gotta love dodge!

Dodge isn;'t the only one that uses unit bearings...

I got 100k out of my factory set.

Its not really bigger tires that kill the unit bearings its wheels that stick the tires out further then stock. Any wheel is crazy backspacing is going to kill unit bearings even if they're stock size tires.

Also taking corners fast and hard kills them. So if your the type that always takes corners fast or pulls into parking spots at mach 9 thats your problem.
