front disc break SEVER wear

Default front disc break SEVER wear

i just had my breaks redone new roters and a new front pasengers side caliper, but the drivers side roter has EXTREME wear marks, they have only about 3000 miles on them and i havent been hauling extreamly heavy loads. any answers?

By wear marks do you mean gouges? Make sure the friction material didnt break off at all. Also the caliper could be dragging/ not releasing right. Were the caliper slide pins and contact points lubed before they were put back on?

no they did but the passenger side looks like is never been used. they drivers side looks like i have been going with out a brake change for about 100,000 miles my truck only has 67,000 miles.

The exact thing happened to me................turned out the new caliper they put on was defective..........if only 1 side (inner or outer) on the rotor is worn badly, then you have a caliper binding or the guides arent lubed at all

But 2500 you had it done at a shop, right? Did you take it back to see what they said?
