umm what mods do you have to your moter to get it to 6000 rpm? max rpm ona stock moter should be 5250 rpm, if you got it to 6000 stock your lucky your not rebuilding it
if you have the preformance mods to get it to 6000 (safeley) could be a plug or injector

see https://dodgeforum.com/m_909741/tm.htm for the stock moter spks.

in any case during heavyacceleration (pettle to the floor) the OBDII says it misfires, what could this be?

A wire breaking down, do a full ignition tune up and try again.

this a problem with this site. every walks on eggshells around guys like this, they try to be nice to them. look dude if you rev a stock engine to 6000 and are anticipating 7000 you are a complete idiot. do some reading, there is alot of good information on this site. that coupled with some spare cash and you could possibly have an engine to rev that high.do your homework, what you are doing is stupid.
