Default Rotors!!!!

I drive a '99 2500 4x4. Today I dedcided to replace my front break pads, and in the process discovered that my rotors should be replaced as well. I bought the parts, and set to work. Pulled the tire off, got the breaks off fine. I removed the axle nut and all 4 knuckle bolts, and the rotor wouldnt come off. I tried spraying it with lube and tapping it with a hammer. It still wont come off. Any suggestions would be great.

Hit it harder. You already said its scrap right? Can't hurt it. They get rust welded on

Is there anything holding the rotor on; other than the axle nut and 4 knuckle bolts? I would feel like a jackass, after all the time ive spent on this to find out I missed a nut or bolt or cotter pin somewhere.

I've never gotten one off without having to crack it a few times without a ball peen hammer. When you think about it, the entire weight of the front end of the vehicle leans on these things, they're built for more abuse than you could probably throw at em with a hammer.

Don't be afraid to hit it on the top or sides as well. Sometimes where you hit it is more important than how hard.

All you need to do is take of the two bolts holding the caliper on and then the rotor should slide right off.
