A/C evap drain hose
I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 Sport 4x4 Quad Cab with a 5.9L engine. I have been experiencing my front passenger floor board getting extremly wet under the carpet. I have been told it might be the A/C evaporator drain hose being plugged. But, I don't know where it is to fix it. Any ideas?

under the hood, on the firewall, passenger side, just to the right and below the pcm. its a little pipe about 1/2 in diameter. only sticks out about 3/4 in. poke it out with a pencil. check around it for cracks in the firewall sealer.
firewall seal is more like a bead of rubber sealant that can dry out and crack.
smear a bead of black RTV over it.
if the old sealant is broken and wants to fall out, you should remove it. if its still intact, then leave it be and smear RTV over the top of it.
i'm not sure what your cheap looking cloth is ?

its not a replaceable part that you can buy. its just rtv or rubber sealant squirted into the gap between the tube and firewall. if its loose and falling out, remove it. if its stuck in good but cracked, smear some new rtv over the old to seal the crack.
