Let me explain something about the T-stat, our trucks have a 195* T-Stat and in the summer they can get very hot, same as you chevy guys, changing this out actually helps out the vehicle, I list to to give other people ideas for a cheap modification that will indeed help their truck. Now onto the useless stuff in signatures, some of us are not made of money and the modifications done are a bit cheaper than a 202 valve job, or brand new eddy heads or even an intake manifold (for our trucks). I myself have spent all my money on replacement parts to make my truck run better before I use my money on performance modifications. Your way of helping will just cause problems, we have a pretty tightly knit group of guys here and we help each other out all the time, I know I am keeping my eyes closed but we don't need a new way to help.
I also have two of my ASE certifications and a few other certificates or certification for a few different topics at the age of 18, so don't assume that my assumption is wrong.

I'd really like to know how much you could possibly gain from a gutted cat over ahiflow. I can't imagine it would be much. I guess you could gut it and then run a MSD ingition setup up to burn off more gas.
BTW,all the stuff I put in my sig is there for troubleshooting purposes, so folks know what I've done, and what's still stock.
