Default lift and tires

My plan is 3 inch lift rough country longer coils not a spacer comes with all four control arms drop down brackets for sway bar rear 2.5 blocks 4 shocks and an adjustable track bar just for the extra built in adjustment for alignment now
Tires 305x70x16 a 33 12.5 well real close little over little under and a 16x8 wheel
with a 4.5 backspace should look great and run without any rubbing at all if I'm wrong let me know before I drop 3 grand lol thanks :icon_headbang

Youve got a good set-up there! Try ordering parts individually, should cost you a lot less. Get 3" lift coils, lower c-arms if youre worried about them, adustable track bar, longer front shocks and rear 2" long add-a-leafs and you'll be set. I wouldnt worry about the sway bar links, order drops if ya like.

For what it you get for the price, its a good kit Ill give it that. You may find once you got 33x12.5 you'll want more gear then 3.55. I quite enjoyed my 285's with 4.10's.

285/75/16 generally equates to 33x11. Sounds like a good plan ya got there.

I'm running 35's on an 01 1500 2WD with just a 2.5" coil spacer.

Which brings me to my real question. I was just about to buy 3" lift coils, and was told I would also need to buy the control arms if I want to go any higher than a 2" level lift in the front. Is this true?

Thats if youre a 4wd. With your 2wd IFS, 2" is about all you wanna do suspension wise. IMO. I am unaware of any 3" lift coils for a 2wd.

A 3" body lift is a much better option for you being a 2wd.
