i dident read everything so i dunno if you have got your answer so inn throw my $.02 in, with 3 in of lift you can get 35's in there youll need offest rims too, to prevent rubbing at full turn in the front (or just dont turn as sharp)with 3in i can flex my suspention as much as possable and not have it rub anywhere (and belive me ive tryed)as for lift procomp makes one, coil spacers in the front and add-a-leaf/block rear i have it in mine and it was pritty cheep

All my pics are with the 35's and a 3" suspension lift and 3" body lift. The 37's and 6" lift are still getting installed.
Just keep in mind that some trucks rub and some don't as noted above. I ran the 33's for a while stock. just had to be careful when turning. Probably similar to how ryans590 does now with 35's.
I have aftermarket 15 X 10" wheels that stick out farther and cause the tire to get close on the outside lip of the opening. If you look close at one of the side shots you can see that the lower wheel opening is the tight spot. Some with near stock size wheels have had issues with inside rubbing.

Remember. We will help you spend your money and take credit when it works and deny any liability if it don't.......

x2 bulldog, I have a Sport model as well and compared to my buddies stock 1500 (same bed and cab layout so weights should be comparable) I have another 1 1/2 - 2in of clearance from top of axles to wheel well. But I thought it was only Off Road models that came with any kind of factory lift.

A sport model is an appearance package and has no effect on suspension components, now if you have the offroad package thats a different story.

Default 3 inch lift YES

The only thing I didnt really make me happy was due to the tire to wheel ratio being off or adleast in my eyes it was.

To fit 35's though you will need 5 inches worth of lift to fit them without rub. I was under the impression at first that all I would need is a 3 inch lift to fit 35's untill my buddy, that gave me his 33's made his first attempt to fit his 35's on his 98 dodge and disscovered that he needed to add 2 more inches of lift to stop the rubbing. He did however slove that problem by just putting in some cheaper much easier to install body lifts than buying a hole new 5-6 inch suspension lift.

5 year old thread.......

I would also point out, that by your name, you have at least a 2500, which sits higher than the 1500's. You could clear 35's with just a 3" lift, but, a half-ton is gonna need 5" to clear properly.
