i gota question i got a 99 ram 1500 5.9L V8 Gas


and i want smoke stacks does anyone know of any issues with doing that and what would sound good with 5" tips

Smoke stacks are for diesel trucks only.

Sure you can put them on a gas truck but smoke stacks look pretty gay with no smoke coming out of them

LOL yeah no smoke would look dumb, but I'd bet a gas engine would sound a hell of a lot louder!!!

well you could set your truck up to run a little rich, put stacks in with a spark plug drilled into each one riged to a switch, then you could have flames comming out of them lol

Here are a couple of videos of my truck with true dual exhaust with no cats into dual Super 44's. The first one is dark and the second one my battery died so I didn't get to do the flyby, maybe another day. I don't think you can go wrong with either the 40 or 44 series, both sound great on these trucks.

Personally I am a fan of Magnaflow mufflers, therefore thats what I suggest.

Someone in one of the other threads was selling a couple of flowmaster 10s if you want something nice and noisy.
