lost gas mileage
on my 99 dodge 1/2 2wd 318 ram i used to get about 330 miles a tank till the gas light comes on truck has 400,000 miles on it the 5 cylinder misses sometimes narrowed it to the point of dirty injector and it has done that since about 100k miles has new oxy sensors got put in about 50k miles ago i dont know what is causing it any know what could cause it?
have you done full tune up?
plugs, wires, cap, rotor, replaced the bad injector?????
your running on 7 cylinders... they have to work harder to compensate...
= bad MPG
how is the plenum in the truck?
plugged exhaust system can cause a Seriously BAD MPG issue

I personally would have swapped it over to its 'sister' cylinder #6
and see if the miss goes to #6 too.
At 400,000 miles it is not a bad idea to pull all the fuel injectors and inspect the little screens at the top designed to catch stuff big enough to foul the injector pintle. Have new o-rings on hand to reassemble.
