LOL, the "tip man"...I could get use to that[8D]. But anyways, I like stainless steel. I'm leary as to how long chrome will last. I've never had an issue with stainless steel either. I wash my truck like a freak, and always dedicate a special cloth and spray applications for my tips when I handwash my truck. They clean up very nicely, and have a really nice shine to them. I couldn't ever see them getting rusty unless I never washed the truck again and let the winters' salt sit on them haha. Judging the fact you have 2.25" piping, I'd think 3.5" tips would be the best you would want to go. Remember, the longer and bigger the diameter of the tip, the more effect it's going to have on the tone. I'm not saying the exhaust tip will make a huge differance, but they do matter a lot. I would suggest getting at least an 18" long tip, and at least a 3" diameter tip. Slash cut styled tips also provide a nice look and change the way the exhaust exits the tip which is pretty neat. IT also is a great way to get kids away from their truck because if they scrape up against it, yeah, like a knife(lol i'd honestly hope no kid ever cut themselves hah). Anyways, what system do you run now at the moment? Got any videos of it?

Wouldn't that cat-tip setup produce massive amounts of cab resonating tones? blah. Bet it sounds badass though.

I'm still iffy as to put a tip on my truck since it might draw more attention from the cops to my illegal straight pipe hehe, but what are you guys suggestions for a V10 tip? Since it kinda sounds like a diesel should I go with the biggest diameter like 4.5 X 18in to exacerbate the sound? I only have a single pipe exiting the back but a think the slashed tips would look badass comming out of there! Also 20DodgeNeon00 I hate your fender flares, cause I****ingwant them!! lol

LOL you guys are too kind for your words! As for you wotansmopar, I think you hit it right on the money with the 4.5" tip. That truck is a god damn beast, those diesel looking tips are going to look sweet on your truck! I love the way big block gassers sound like, they are so rare these days, it's really cool stuff. I don't think you'll get screwed with though, I've found cops leave the big trucks alone. When ppl see a big truck making big noise, they just think its normal because the truck is so big. I will say, fender flares would look amazing on your truck, it'd make it look even tougher. I love your truck as well, with some bigger tires and some fender flares, it's going to BE INSANE, for real!! Thanks again guys for the comments, you guys make me want to keep pimpin out out! Give the v10 the props with the tip, and let evreryone know shes boss baby!!!

You'd be hard pressed to get pulled over for making too much noise in a truck. Think about it. No matter how loud you make a gas truck it's not really going to be any louder than a diesel truck. and if it's a diesel truck they're not going to care that it's loud cause everyone knows they're loud.

Come to think of it, I have yet to see a pulled over pick up truck. Did see a cab get pulled over once, I was hoping to see that one day, so there's one check of lifetime goals yet to be achieved. lol. And i've heard VERY loud trucks blow past cops. Then again, guys driving big trucks like that tend to be a bit more cautious around other cars, so I guess the five-o cut them a little slack.
