Default Wheel hop while driving?

This doesnt happen every day but somtimes its more present. I will be driving and it seems like the truck is hopping up and down. Its really weird it did it a little bit in the begining of the summer then it stoped for a while. Now its starting to do it again. Like I said it doesnt do it all the time , id like to get it taken care of asap. I was thinking maybe a transfercase mount?

I know exactly what you're talking about!
It will happen to me everyonce and a while, especially if I'm going 35 for a while around town.
But it also doesn't happen often, once and a blue moon.

Yup, same here. Every once and a while my front end feels like it's hopping at around 35-45 mph. Still haven't figured it out yet. '01 1/2 ton 4X4, with stock suspension here.

feels like the front.... If i cut the wheel to the right it seems like it goes away for a second. Also the shifter for the 4x4 shakes from side to side. Its really weird it only shakes when the truck is hopping.

Btw I have a 1995 bone stock ram 1500 v8 with 4x4 (its my work truck) but its very realiable (knocks on wood desk)

are you sure its in the front? i had the same problem on my 01 1500 QC 4x4. i ended up disconnecting the emergency brake cable and it fixed the problem completely.for some reason the ebrake was catching intermittently when i would begoingover 30mph. disconnecting it was not the safest thingbut a quick fix until it warms up enoughand i can get into the drums to see whats going on with the e-brake system.

Default Wheel hopping

I realize this is an old post but if your still experiencing this problem, I have had the same thing several times sounds like the tires are bad belt separating got better tires problem solved.
