Always wanted one from the day they came out. Couldnt afford one as my first car (thankfully because I was dumb). Time came for a new vehicle, saw this one on the net and ran down with cash in fist.

 

style , cheap , 4x4 .. couldnt go wrong

 

I remember when they first came ou with the new new front....I thought damn that is ugly. After I got back from Iraq I was looking to get my son a car ran accross my 01 1500 4x4 and went cool. The dealer had 2 of them there one a nice blue and the other a copper color. I went for the blue one first but it had some rod or lifter noise, switched to the copper one she ran great. Traded my 84 Bronco (Fullsize) and drove her off the lot and never looked back. I LOVE MY TRUCK!!

 

I blew the engine in my 1st car, so I saved up some money and went and found a truck on ebay....Its alright i reckon

 

well it was my dads truck.he bought it newin the winter of 98.i rmember the day. he had a 1993 yota and wanted a chevy, but they were tooo much. then we wnt to the dodge dealer and saw our beautiful purpl dodge with a 360 and leather for way less than a 305 chevy

 

The bench seats so I could get bj's on the go........ that's not a joke either. Really, that was 1 of the reasons. Also, it looked so bad *** from the front that I just feel in love w/ it. The same year Ford and Chevy looked weak but the Ram.... oh man.

 

I totalled my 92 BMW and had to get somethin new...i poked around on line at ez-way autos mostly lookin for a smaller truck. found a little dakota i liked and gave them a call on it...the lady said it had been sold but had another dakota she wanted me to look at. drove to the lot and there wasnt a dakota in site. but down at the end of the lot all tucked away was my baby...7000 dollars later i drove away in a 98 ram 1500 single cab short bed 5 speed and i love her wouldnt trade her for the world

 

My 90' Ranger kind of took a crap on me, and it would have cost more than the truck was worth to get it to pass inspection.

Always wanted a second gen. Dodge Ram. Can't imagine driving anything else.
