hope you didnt get the 6.0..if you did good luck man..either 1 of 3 things can go wrong...

1) HEAD GASKETS....about 5 grands to fix..and from what i beem told only a dealer can do this...
2.) They have a issue with the EGR clogging cause of a idiling issue....so you will have to clean the EGR out often....
3) High pressure pump can go- rip the trans out cause you have to remove the flywheel to get to it...

should of gotten a cummins...or duramax....

7.3 powerstrokes are bulletproof, believe me i do towing and we have an 03 that has 220k miles on it, still runs mint, and believe me, it's been beaten on. The new 6.0s, dont know about the 6.4s, are junk. They have injector problems, among other things. We've had problems with all the 6.0 wreckers, but the 7.3 has never had problems, it's like a tank.

You'll love it. The majority of folks on here are just super bias...I think they tend to forget that vehicles have problem...If I need to mention the fact that Dodge has been notorious for transmission problems, I think someone has there blinders on. All companies have good and bad, just take care of what you have and you will be happy. Congrats on the purchase.
