Why would you buy a powerjoke, I mean seriously, you bought the worst truck on the market, I would have gotten a cheby before the ford... Well good luck and may god have mercy on your pocket book (when the repairs roll around...)

well...first off we need to know what year the truck is before we can really bash him. If it's a 7.3...way to go. Anything else.....let's just say there were better options. Probably the main reason he with with a ford diesel is becuase they are alot cheaper then a cummins of the same year...

Not bashing on Dodge, but I used to own a 95 7.3 before this half-ton and I would go back in a heartbeat if I could afford it. I didn't have any problems with it...man...I loved that truck

But on another note, I'm pleased with the truck I have now.

OMG... what is wrong with you man!
the PowerCHOKE is way less comparable with the cummins!!

powerchoke is at the top... Cummins below
Rods on the powerchokes typically break right under the wrist pin...

They are not as capable as a cummins is...
Oh well.. too late i guess...
My uncle owns a Ford Excursion with the 7.3... it is just O-K.... i personally will never buy one...

If you are closer to me, i will drop in a cummins in the ferd for you.

I work for BW turbo systems we make all the twin turbo's for International for the new Ford and all we hear are all problems....
Ford not wanting to pay Int cause the engine is not performing like they promised, bad parts,etc,etc,...
My dad had a 7.3 liter 2001 F350..My dad liked the truck alot but every 50,000 miles the front end needed to be rebuilt and a
folder with all the receipts for all the repairs for everything else but the engine, look like a copy of War and Peace....
7.3 liter ...6.0 liter
