anyone make a deeper trannypan
ok call me cheep. has any one made a deeper tranny pan ? i was thinking [:@]I should do that thinking thing. just go to the bone yard and get two pans and cut the lip off of one and cut the pan of the other and weld them. and then put a drain plug in it and a tranny temp gauge in it. i could bolt the pan to a 3/4 plywood before welding to stop it from warping when welding.

here's a link... mine is a DD pan, holds an extra 4 quarts of fluid. I have never seen my tranny temps exceed 160 deg.

[align=left]This isn't a big difference, but I think it adds about 1 quart and comes with a drain plug. It's actually the 727 Mopar performance pan and it fits on the 47RH. Scroll down to the bottom of the link for the post .
