While I'm having these two problems fixed is there anything else I should have done while the truck is apart? I am going to have a new timing chain and sprocket set done but, is there anything else? The truck just turned 100K. Thanks guys.

get a double roller timeing chain, not a stock replacement.

 

Check the plenum gasket too......that would be a good time to do it if its blown

i got my plate and gasket kit from Hughes.
several people have posted recently they got a plate and gasket kit from APS for less money.
