Default Where can I get gaskets for these valve covers??

I bought these valve covers off ebay, they are used but they look like brand new. I got a good deal on them but I went to put them on and realized that they wont work with the stock style gaskets i had. Does anybody have an idea where I can get the gaskets??

Mopar performance? Try the dealership. They can order them for you.

BTW i am so jealous that you got them for a deal. So jealous.

Yup, I got mine from the dealership for my valve covers. They are the hard platic gaskets that are reusable. I recommend before you install those that you buy the baffles from APS PRecisions. The stock baffles suck, you will get oil coming out the grommets. They came out with these that are much better.

I was wondering how those grommets sealed up. Those baffles arent too big that they will interfere with the rockers are they? I plan on putting a cam in this summer and I was going to get aftermarket rockers (the same size 1.6) but I think the baffles in the stock covers need to be cut out or modified if you buy different rockers and get a cam?? Correct me if Im wrong, but thats what ive gathered about it. I could be completely wrong....

Silver,

I thought you can't use baffles for 1.7s? SOmeone said you can't do 1.7s without getting new valvecovers without baffles. Am I mistaken?

Silver1500, Those covers are taller then the stock covers, so you shoudn't have any problem clearing your 1.6's using those covers, even with the baffles.

CPTAFW163, the 1.7 rockers made by Crower, Mopar, and others do require you to beat the baffles on the stock valve covers to make them fit. Harland Sharp 1.7s are the exception, and they fit under stock valve covers with no problems. The Mopar Performance covers posted about above are taller then the stock covers, and will work with those other 1.7's.

This is kind of off subject but if I get a cam I probly shouldnt get 1.7 rockers right?
Someone told me that 1.7s might give me too much lift if I get a cam, I dont know for sure tho.

Not true in the least. You can run whatever rockers you want. The thing you need is to make sure that you pick the cam with an appropriate ammount of lift given the rocker ratio.
