Transmission***UPDATE
As stated above, I don't think you should let anyone else take this trans apart just yet.
Fine to ask the dealer for an opinion.
One thing I don't like is that receipt you posted doesn't tell you anything about what is inside that transmission. It just says rebuilt transmission, and I'll guess the HD tacked on the end makes it Heavy Duty.
Regard less of how this turns out I think you should definitely ask for in writing specifics of what is inside.
Things like, 4,5.or 6 pinion gear sets, additional clutches, clutch and band material, valve body modifications (shift kit) and torque converter specs. This way you know what you got and can compare it to a Dr. evil or whatever trans
I'm not saying they did this but they could have easily given you a stock rebuild with a fancy pan and painted it blue and called it HD on the bill.

I will have them give me a specific write-up that entails all the parts they used, and I will relay it to you guys. I'll let you know what the dealer says tomorrow when they call. We are going down there together (me and my dad) and talking to them to once they call. We're getting to the bottom of this. Don't you guys find it incredibly nervracking that the transmission shop let me leave their shop like that. Even if it wasn't their problem, they would have told me that! I mean all tranny shops test drive their products, they just have to. Someone test drove that truck and knew it wasn't right, why wouldn't they tell me that? They'd at least have said your engine is ****ing with your transmission, but nothing, which leaves me to beleive their hiding something, and I don't know what it is. This is why I dont want them having it back right away. I need to see what's going on. They will get it back eventually, they arent getting off, I just need to see what the dealer says first...but I make a good point right guys? what shop in the right mind would give someone a truck funcitioning like that?...there problem or not, theres just no explanation to give someone a truck like that without mentioning anything

Not trying to be a jerk about this just putting this here to warn future people that may need a transmission put in as it seems like it's fairly often someone needs one.
I hope you can get your transmission issues worked out and get your truck back to you fairly quickly. I know how much I missed my truck and I'm sure you must be the same way. You have one sweet truck.
As for the build sheet if you get whats inside the tranny we could probably more tell you how HD it actually is.
BTW did you get my PM about the tint?
http://www.newenglandtrans.com/It looks like they have a web site.A WHOLE 3 testimonials seal the deal for me.
Maybe you should leave one for them or ask thier tech a question.

The Brown Family from Virginia [/align] "To the superlative transmission detectives at New England Transmission. There we were in Maine, veritable victims at the mercy of mechanics. Did they stick it to us, NAY !!!!! They plucked the naughty sensor input thingie like a surgeon would some shrapnel and we prevailed and drove our van back to Virginia. God bless you all and thank you"
Priceless....
Good luck man
use big words just for a sensor change... my super duper thinger mc bob that cause my tcc code turn out to be the overdrive selnoid , so i pluck that thing like a crazy man and she runs good....
I know you're getting tired of us saying this 01DodgeRam360, but you're wasting your $$$ or your dad's $$$ at the dealership.
If you have the stealership open up that transmission, or if they have someone else open it up, I am 99% certain that the tranny shop will refuse to honor the warranty and won't touch the transmission to fix it without attempting to rape you for more money.
Then the only course of action for you is court. Legal crap and lawyers later, you will probably get your money back but still have a busted truck. If you go back to the transmission shop and bug them until they do it right, you most likely will end up with a good-running truck.
You're right, you can't trust them. Which should remove all your inhibitions about making getting along with them, who gives a flying monkey crap. Make them do it right, and if they don't do it right the 2nd time, take it back in. And again if they screw up a 3rd time. If its under warranty, use it dude.
Eventually they'll do it right just so you stop bringing it in. I think I read that in an earlier post about two or three pages ago, can't remember... but whoever said it, I agree.

I'm on your side but listen to these guys. If the dealer didn't have time to look at your truck yet. GOOD! End it there. The only thing that happened to your truck was the tranny you had installed. That alone is the source of your problems. Nobody messed with your engine, so that isn't the issue. GET YOUR TRUCK BACK NOW BEFORE The STEALER RAPES YOUR ***! Take it to that shop. Make sure they put the right fluid in it for starters and then have them pull the piece of crap apart and, if necessary, out to fix it if the issue isn't something small. Just get the stupid truck out from the dealer. They have no business even looking at your truck right now. You didn't have a major issue with your engine before and chances are you don't have one now. They didn't work on your tranny, so they shouldn't touch it. If you allow them to, they certainly will, and that's just going to cost you more for what you already know; and that is that your tranny has issues. Not only that but your warranty might just vanish if the dealer does anything to the tranny. That is the biggest thing you have to realize. If it's possible your warranty will be voided from someone else working on the tranny, don't take the chance! Ever hear of Murphy's Law? If anything wrong can happen, eventually it will happen. Take it to the place that gauranteed the thing. Have them deal with it. It is their problem because their stupid asses are the ones who gave you a ****ed up piece of ****.

Chrysler four-speed automatics only use ATF+3 (ATF+4 for newer vehicles), regardless of what the dipstick or owner's manual says. To quote Mopar Magazine, “ATF+4 is the right fluid for Chrysler automatic transmissions built since 2001.â€
(Putting in Dextron makes the clutches chatter due to the absence of a much needed friction modifier found in ATF +3 and +4 but it won't make it slip. )
Do not use Dexron with an additive. Richard Widman passed us an extensive report from reputable gas company Chevron, which compared ATF+3 fluid with Dexron plus various additives. They found that neither of two major brands matched ATF+3's performance specs.
By the way, the shuddering that you may have mentioned, if I'm not mistaken, could have been caused by your torque converter going in and out of it's lockup mechanism due to many possible reasons; one being a worn torque converter clutch plate.
