One would just really hope a transmission shop would know the right kind of transmission fluid a truck would need. I haven't found out what kind they used, but I will ask them for sure when I pick the truck up. I'm just letting those losers figure it out, it's their problem at this point. They shouldn't have let me have to get all stressed up about this. They are the ones who had to replace their transmission, and they aren't the ones who had to pay $4,000. However, they are the ones they have to deal with my crazy *** lol. I'll find out what they used though seeing how imperative it is what fluid they use, thank you.

No,you shouldnt have let yourself stress about this.If it ran like crap when you first left the place you should have went straight back. You have a warrenty you were afraid to use so you go to a dealership and lose 50 bucks that you couldve put towards a scanner to find the problem. You are very melodramatic and seem to like attention. We all hate to see a fellow Ram owner going through crap like this but you dont need to post every 10 minutes about it.Every thread you start seems like a soap opera.Chill out!!!!!

I have been following your thread for a bit now and haven't said anything yet...
WTF are you doing???
Leave it out of the dealers...it is not their issue. You did not pay them for the tranny or the warrenty. You paid New England Transmission. It is their problem.
You are letting them walk all over you. You want them to tell you what's wrong but you don't stick to your guns and they aren't taking you seriously.
Tell them to leave the damn speedo the *** alone and everything else and fix the god damn tranny.
If you want to know what they used for fluid ask them and tell them you want an answer...not just wait.
They still didn't tell you what you had for a rear end ratio because you let them NOT answer you.
Fix the damn thing OR pull it out. That is their one and only option.
I live in Maine myself (half hour from ya) and I know what you are dealing with. DO NOT GIVE THEM AN OPTION!!

Thank you guys. And do not worry, I took what you guys said, and I pulled my truck out of that dealership. I didn't bring the truck back immediatly because I wasn't sure if it was just a glitch. I wanted to see if was just because it was new and needed to get the fluids moving. So I just wanted to have the truck with me for the day. Then, that night, after my dad test drove it with me, he said he wanted someone to look at the transmission to see if there was anything wrong with it. So I brought it to the dealer, and nothing came up on their scanner. They were being gay anyways, so I just took it outa there. Anyways, I really laid into that guy today. When I test drove with him, he was getting pretty pissed off how I wasn't budging on his gay excuses. Don't worry though guys, I got them in the bag this time. Even had my dad come down with me today to enforce we meant business. They said they are going to take care of it, and I believe they will. That truck will not leave that lot until it is absolutely perfect, trust me guys....I over react because I'm spending a lot of cash on this thing. Everytime I hire guys to do jobs for me, they always make them way worse than it has to be, and this is why I get very stressed out. I don't really have a whole lot that I look forward besides my family, women, and my truck. It means a lot to me, so I just get very stressful when it comes to it. Again, I hope it doesn't **** people off how long my threads can get, but it's because of the unecessary bullcrap I have to deal with this truck because of incompetant mechanics....

Also mikecjn, where's about are you from???

I am down in Wells...like I said, just about a half an hour.
Not trying to ride your *** or insult you in my last post but I think everyone here at one time or another has been screwed over by a shop and has learned to grow thick skin from it and not take the crap anymore. Probably why most work on their own vehicles now.
Just have to stick to your guns and not let them push you around and make them realize they work for you and it is your way or the highway. There are other shops out there that can use your business. Hell, in Maine the economy sucks so bad people will come out of the woodwork begging for your business. They don't like it they can pull the tranny and eat the cost while you go somewhere else. A wrecker to haul you to another shop is a lot cheaper and less of a headache than what they are putting you thru.
You said before that they were nice guys when you talked to them initially. My thought on that is my neighbor is a nice guy but doesn't know his *** from a whole in the ground when it comes to vehicles.

Man. IDK Neon. You can't catch a break. But I tell ya, i'm just mechanically inclined, but no where near a mechanic. If you can turn a wrench, and have some decent enthusiasm about working, you can get a haynes and reference this site as many times as needed. Obviously taking it to a shop seems like your just taking it to some guys with an air drive, not any mechanics. All the mechanics I know, will inform me ahead of time that if I do this, this may result. Then I can take their word forward. So far I've only had my truck in the shop to get new tires installed (easy, just worked a deal for all four brand new, and they mounted and balanced and changed my oil for free, just have to negociate a little) and to get an idler and pitman arm installed for 85 dollars. That one I just didn't feel like it was worth it to find a socket to find around that big ol nut the arm has and then get a torch to heat them up. Other than that, and having my Tranny overhauled to make my 800 mile trip, I can handle what I want to do to it. I don't feel comfortable with headers, so I'm not getting them. I don't want a lift, mine is a 2wd anyway, so I don't have to worry about that.

Kinda get what I'm getin too?

Do you ever grow up man? Why would you even bother writing that, seriouslly. You know that I'm burning right now. If you actually possess that much hate for me, then just enjoy what I'm dealing with, that should be enough for you, other than that, you can either help contribute, or just not say anything, I don't need the extra crap.

If you guys all knew me in real life, you all would like me. I'm a nice guy, and get along with everyone. You guys only know me revolved around my truck, which I'm highly sensitive around. Other than that, you don't know me, so stop trying to some me up like you know who I am outside of my truck world johnjokela...it's pretty rude.

As for the mechanics, it's just my luck. As an average truck owner, what more could I have tried to do? I dropped my truck off at one of the most reputable transmission shops in Maine, and paid top dollar for their transmission. I'm sure you guys would all be freaking out too if you paid as much money as I have and went with a good company, and this is happening. Just because I own a nice truck doesn't mean I know everything lol, I'm trying like hell to pinpoint what to do. It's tough to be an ******* to someone if you don't know exactly what your talking about, so you have to bare with me. Most of you guys could go in there and start pointing at specific ****, I can't do that lol, I don't know **** about transmissions....I'm doing the best I can right now and taking the right steps. I brought the truck back there, made them test drive it, they know I'm pissed, they know I'm unhappy, I have my dad involved, theres not really much more I can do right now.
