Why does that fact that you are running 285's make you think you can run 35's???
If you have only 3" of lift, you will rub the fender well edges with 35's. In addition, with 15x10 rims, and 12.50" wide tires, you will rub the control arms too. You can fit 35's on 3" of lift, but you better get your sawzall warmed up.

i dont have the lift on yet it is stock and i clear the 285 with room to spear so if i lift it 3' that makes me think i could fit them.everyone has a differant answer so i post it i need feedback
Do your current 285s rub a little when you turn the truck hard to the left or right? Most do, because they are slightly to big for stock height Rams like ours. No one's saying 285s don't fit the space, its just when you turn that you usually have problems (the width of the tire).

If you don't believe me, send a PM to Aubrey. He's running 35's on 3" lift. Let him send you pictures of how much of the fender well he had to cut out to make it work.

You'll have to do some trimming and banging to fit 35's on a 3". The rears are fine, nothing there. The fronts, (and you may need to do more since it's a Sport) you'll need to remove some plastic fender tub and flatten a seam. I think it was about 6" - 8"s of plastic front and rear on the front fenders. The seam at the rear of the wheel well needs to be pounded flat. You'll use a BFH for that. There's a tiny bit or metal that needs to be cut away but nothing major.

IMO put the 3" lift on and then the tires. if it rubs to much for your likeings, then superlift makes a 3/4" spacer for the bottom of the coil spring which would help a little.or you can do a 2-3" body lift.
alright, well, i guess,i should go with 33 305/70/16 im not gonna go with the 15' rims i will keep stock ones.im going with the top gunz budget lift it just for looks, the truck is just to big for 4wheelin i have my cj for that.hey AUBREY DO you have pics of your whole truck.just wanna see what i might be missin.
