Air quits blowing......
When I first turn on my air, it runs fine. After a few minutes it will quit blowing and then sometimes it will start blowing again. I have to turn the air off, sometimes the truck off before it will blow again. I have checked the fuses in the fuse panel and they seem to be fine. What could it be?[/align]
Could be two things I know of. A bad blower motor (this happened to mine) or a bad resistor block. Sounds more like the blower motor to me. Parts house has them around $60. A bad resisor block will cause one or more of the fan speeds to stop working totally, not intermitten like you described. I'd take the blower motor out, maybe clean the brushes/winding up w/ elec. cleaner and see it it improves, then look at a new motor.

I'm a newbie to this truck.....where would I find the blower motor?
The motor is under the dash close to the floor on the passenger side. You'll see the large black plastic housing for it.
Started to think a bit more and your problem could be a bad relay in the power distribution box underthe hood. A quick check would be to swap the blower relay for another in there and see if the problem goes away.
The link belowwill be your most helpful tool -Thank steve05ram360 for this one. It's the complete ram service manual for your truck. Download it and love it!
You'll find the blower info in the "heating and A/C" section, then "air distribution" then "blower motor".
You'll need Adobe reader to view it.

I got a new relay and still have the problem. I guess next step is to replace the blower motor.
