Here's another option for an intake manifold. It might even have better low-end response compared to the M1. Anybody try this one yet?

If I had the $730 plus shipping and tax I might be interested in this Hughes Fi intake. Sort of looks like a highly modded M1. Hughes part number 21869.

And I couldn't tell you how much of a difference there is between the Edelbrock RPM air gap intake manifold and the M1, other than from what I've read in catalogs such as Jeggs and Summit. I was just tossing this out as another option for his consideration. I wouldn't mind trying it too if I had the extra ca$h.

I'd like to see this cracked manifold too.
Never seen one on a magnum.

KRC dynoed this intake against an M1. Same motor- no other changes. They came out the same.

Difference is that the M1 is single plane and the Air Gap is dual. I bugged the **** out Hughes for months about this thing. Sad day when the dyno results were posted.

Guess that I am glad that I don't have an extra $730 just laying around then.

So is the M1 pretty much the best intake to go with with a heads/cam/intake/tb/full exhaust setup? Unfortunately, the term "m1" is too short to use with the search function.
