Default Glasspacks

Hey everyone I have a 1998 Ram 1500 and it is in dire need of some sound adjustment and needs to lose the stock system. I was wondering if anyone has glasspack sounds or recommendations as to what i should buy, keep in mind im only 16 so funding is a bit of an issue[:@] Thanks! Also if anyone has any cheap bolt on horsepower gains would be much appreciated!

You want it loud then just cut the muffler off and run the pipe out the side. If you want a muffler then just buy a glasspack and take it to your local muffler shop. Sounds good and shouldn't be too much money. I have a flowmaster muffler with duals. That is all the loud I want.

FLowmaster is good I got the normal 40 series, but its not the loadest thing out there, at least I don't think, I never really sat outside of my car or had someone drive it, but I think it could be louder.

MIke.

I have the 40 series Delta Flow muffler. I agree with Mikeg...it is not the loudest I have heard but it sounds pretty darn good to me.

Is the 40 series Flowmaster really noticeable in the cab? I was planning on going with a 50 series, but if the 40 series isn't overbearing I'll consider going with that.

I hear 40 series all the time and it doesn't sound bad. If you want loud then straight pipes are good or you can get the flowmaster racing muffler. My roomate has it on his lightning and the thing is loud as hell. The racing muffler is expensive but do whatever floats your boat. I have had loud before and while it is cool for people to hear you a mile away but when you are trying to get somewhere where the cops can ticket you for noise pollution quiet is the way to go. Go with a flowmaster American Thunder system and you will like it.
