HA HA HA wow my sick *** mind and I didn't even notice how bad the title sounded or the play comment. It has not been a good week for me. Saturday we voted on a new ****ty *** union contract which the retards fell for and accepted. Now the union says stuff was worded wrong and they won't sign till its right(thats what you get for letting a compnay guy type it for you).Which we have no guarantee they will even keep the place open they are saying they are gonna close 2 plants and ours is on the list of possible plants.Herd a rumor there is a meeting tomorrow about closing it.Then i found out this news today. I'm most likely gonna have to use the money I took out a loan for to build a 514 for my Mustang. Like mentioned before I'm going on vacation in like 8 1/2 weeks and need my truck all fixed up and ready to go for that.

THIS SUCKS

Goes into Danz Driveline tomorrow. Guy told me labor for replacing everything would be like $450 so all other charges are for parts. pcfixerpro says that sounds a little high but still cheaper then the other place. From what I hear they do a good job so I feel good that things will get done right. A guy there took it for a ride and said something is def. making noise cant hear it too well with my exhaust and tires lol but its louder in reverse. The first guyI bsed with there said it would be about 500 for bearings and 800 if the ring an pinion needed replaced. He also said a stock replacement lsd would be like 320. I figure if everything needs replaced it will be around 1500. Like said before still cheaper then the first placeI called.

I'll keep ya's updated

I guess its not too bad. I mean I know my gear swap for a D44 would have been 350? or 450 + parts from him. I got so many quotes when I was pricing for my gear swap. Still deciding what exactly I want to do in my case. One day I want to throw an Ox in the front and do something with the 9.25" .... but the more and more I think about it.. I think I will buy 4.10's and my lsd over the summer. Then I think again and want dual truetrac's w/ gears. I honestly don't know what I want. I just know i'll make up my mind when I got the money to talk about it. If labor wasn't so darn expensive... Hint Hint anyone... lol couple cases of beer? haha jk.

If you let them put a new stock LSD in there you are crazy. Especially if you pay money for it.

Haha, Hometheaterman, I told him the same thing and I thought of you when I told him. The thing is... Dan pushes Yukon products. So he may infact push this limited slip here http://www.ringpinion.com/ProductDet...px?ProdID=3645 Doesn't seem like a bad unit either.

I didn't think about it being a 2500. That opens up a lot more options. I haven't heard much about that one but it's got to be better than the stock setup. I still say stick with Auburn or Detroit as they are just the tried and proven ones. I've never heard bad about Yukon gears though.
