There is no way, the HEMI is about the best your gonna get in a Dodge truck for a decent price. Unless you find the cash for the legendary 8.3.

I realize you guys are dramatizing this thread a bit but 250hp if you're lucky? I've seen crate 318 engines advertised with 300hp (not sure how modified they are).

You are not really serious about only getting 250 from a TB, headers, high flow exhaust, etc., are you?

I have actually been toying with the idea of going crate instead of modifying my 318. The main factor stopping me (besides getting the lump sum cash together) is the fun and learning process of messing with the engine myself.
