But no alll kidding aside, I'd advise none of us post anymore into this thread. It's getting a little out of hand. The point of this thread was more or less ways to make a 6ft. bed more useful, and you guys got some ideas popped into my head, problem solved. Don't get caught up into the argument lol. I know I'm done from here[8D]

Actually, I don't like to b!tch. However if your bro ever wants to get his false accusations set straight by myself a few more times, just let me know. I had respect for the Furd, and your bro can go check that in one of your other threads (pick 1). But I can only respect a truck as much as I respect the owner. And if you honestly start these posts to causea ruckus, how about you pick up a shop manual and put that free time to good use?

He usually is a nice guy, but he pretty much just hates dodges. He hates the fact that my truck gets a lot more attention because it's newer, bigger tires, and a little taller. So he gets annoyed when people just think my truck is all that. When really my truck is just a 1500 with some big tires and 3" of extra lift. His truck can destroy my truck. It's a lot heavier, it can ***** to the wall out tow me, it's much more useful and practical, and still looks really awesome. I love the Ford for sure, always will. But I know why he's mad lol, he's just jealous. I mean before I had the ram, I had the queer neon, so he had all the glory around town. Then the monster truck came in and kind of put a shadow over his truck. But my truck is purely for recreation, it isn't nearly a workhouse like my brothers truck is. His truck is still as tall as mine with a stock suspension and 265/75/16 tires, so his truck is truly a monster. I still love my truck though, thing is a power house and hauls major ***, but it will NEVER be the workhouse that ford is, nor will it ever have the capability of torque or power that 460 possesses, so I can see why gets mad when my truck falsely dwarfs his truck (hence the **** I get from him all the time)...still I love both trucks though.

regaurdless of 6' or 8' its still a truck, and its still a ram so they are all "Real Trucks" its just watever meets your needs the best.

this is kind of off topic but:
I think the worst truck for bed length are the 04+ f150. last time we went riding we tried to put my Buddies KFX400 in the back of a new F150 Short (Short Bed single cab , not the quad cab mini bed) but we couldnt even shut the tail gate, because it stopped on the tires. We wound up puttin it in the back of my old s10 (89 short bed) shut the tailgate and still had bout 6" of room. I thought it was crazy an s10 had a longer bed than a f150.

This is my 3rd. Dodge truck....'99 long bed (quad cab)....a very long truck
My second Dodge truck was a '95 extended cab short bed. My neighbor owned a '95 single cab long bed 4x4...pulled side by side the trucks were about the same overall length, even the bed height was about the same (both stock)
This is like asking which is better...paste wax or liquid wax....lol
