Seriously sweet setup. I plan on doing the same as soon as I find a job. Imports from Taiwan put our Screw and Bolt company out of business.

I found this is a thread on PS showing how to bend it. I'm pretty sure this is the bracket that comes with this air cleaner assembly and it seems to block the butterflies slightly too. I think it's just how this setup is.

That bracket ain't bending for nothing. For the small amount that the bracket blocks, it probably doesn't mean a whole lot. As for the set screw mounting, it's been on almost a month & has not loosened a bit.

see that device on top of the carburetor on that engine? THAT is an air hat. it measures the velocity of the air moving into the engine.
