The phoenix golds are good, thats what I have, a 12 in xenon, with an octane R 800 w amp, and it sounds excellent. you can see the xenon in the picture of the sub box, but yeah, kickers are not my favorite, they can get loud, but in tunability, I dont feel like they put out as quality of sound, but Im also biased, I always only bought diamond, JL, or phoenix gold. But JL's would sound pretty awesome in that setup of yours.

just some advice from what I have learned is that you dont want to put to much in there, it will distort, to much air moving, so I would keep it to a max of either 3 10's or 2 12's, I dont know, maybe someone knows something more than me, but everything I've ever been taught it is possible to have to much air movement in to small of an area. If you can find the right set up though, go for it I would love to hear of a new way to do it, but I kept mine at 1 12 and it pounds as hard as I could ever want it to. But my best advice is if you want to get the hit out it, go with the 10's in a truck cab, with 3, and you will out pound anything on the road, save some space, and some $$. Hope I help, if not, good luck with your endeavors.

At the risk of sounding rude, if you read the whole thread you will find the answers to your questions.

I put my new Alpine amp for my sub in today and was adjusting it and had it turned up and heard all kinds of rattles I didn't know this truck had. I'm not sure if it was the rear window or not but it seemed like something in the head liner was making noise but it might have been the slider. I just turned it down as it started hurting my ears anyway. I was just trying to get it set how I wanted it.

ripped out the backseat and placed 4 cvr kikr 15's, the back window blew out and mirror always falls off, there aint much u can do bout the rattle except maybe wedge something in the window track. when i plan on banging hard i just take out the sliding glass, besides u cant listen to it with the windows up ne ways. these pics where before i got the box covered, we where testing it to c if it would hold up, it did. all the crap u see behind the back seat is gone, all the amps where mounted on the box.
