Ok so what should the dip stick show after the truck has been sitting for a few hours after it has all settled. Because mine shows in the ok margin after it has sat. I feel like when I check it when its running its hard to get a good reading on the dipstick. Right now its shift great through 1 thru 3 but when it shifts into overdrive it is kinda rough like it shifts a little hard. Is that normal for overdrive? Or do I need to adjust something with the overdrive. Thanks again guys just trying to figure these things out

Run it a little, drive around, Put it in neutral.. turn off the engine and check it.. thats hwo I do do it

 

wrong !!! Hot , in (N) with the truck running.. make sure you use the parking park...

If you guys do pull the trans dipstick it will say the same thing , read what it says on there ..
To much or not enough fluid your asking for trouble..
