RE: fastman vs. holley
installed my fastman 52mmtoday. nice upgrade.a definite improvement in the mid and higher rpms.
he does nice machining. and a very helpful guy too.i liked calling him and he said that he had to make it first. that just made me feel better everything was on a more personal level. plus the price is nice too.

The above flows for the factory throttle bodies designed by Chrysler and manufactured by Holley are from the USA Patent
and are 'sworn under oath to be true'
The numbers on graphs are not the mm sizes, but the number of the line that describes that throttle body in the patent.
Line 58 {correction} is the one for the 5.2/5.9 factory throttle body design
and since it has two bores
you need to double the CFM number
so that the stock Dodge 5.2/5.9 dual bore throttle body flows about
600 CFM
If you understand the graph
you understand that simply boring out the throttle body 'venturi'
... the smaller section....
does not increase flow at maximum opening
but does give a 'jumpy' feel to the throttle as you begin to open it.
