Default Dodge Ram SS/T Help

So a couple weeks back i was going to buy a 96 ram for a guy but i never did. I kept looking around and found another seller with a 1997 SS/T Ram. its black with silver stripes, has upgraded speakers an amp and 2 subs. Basically ive done all the researching on google and other pages i can find, i figured that somebody here would have one, or atleast have info on them. Im real concerned with the power of these. Whats their top speed, i heard 150 but the speedo only goes to 120. anyway heres the link all the info possible would help

Not sure about the SS/T Package but mine is governed right around 115. I doubt you're going to get 150mph out of it, could be wrong though.

The 5.9 Magnum in an SS/T made 250 horsepower and 345 ft/lbs. according to my 1998's window sticker. I had mine at 130-135 passing a buddy's GMC.

Yeah, the SS/T was offered in both 1997 and 1998. $2000 for an Indy Ram seems like a steal. Those will probably be worth way more than an SS/T in the long run.

Here is my 1998 Ram SS/T. I bought this truck brand new on April 11, 1998. It has just over 56k miles on the clock. I bought it with intentions of hot rodding it. I've never gotten around to doing much to it. I was forced by the rattling factory cat to swap in a Magnaflow cat. I dropped in a K&N a couple years back. Other than that, the truck is stock.

I've been thinking about beefing up the drive line for some horsepower. I'd also like to lower it 3" (front) and 4" (rear).

You ain't kidding that's stock, you still have the stock head unit in there. The only thing you've hauled in that is ***, that bed is cherry.

Damn fine looking truck.

Indy, I saw your carfax report, it said the engine was smokin'!

Thanks! I forgot, I also bolted on a receiver hitch and wired it up for trailer wiring back in 1999. I'm thinking about removing that stuff now since I have the '97 dually to pull trailers with.
