i just posted a simular post. I replased both iac and tps and it didn't change a thing. From what i found it could be the egr transducer, if yours has it. min is plugged hopfuly that will do it.

I replaced IAC and TPS long time ago ( kinda gave up after that

) until brake booster went out and then I started trying to figure it out again. Is that EGR transducer over behind passenger headlight? If so i replaced it a long time ago. That didn't work.

97 Shouldn't even have EGR.
