Default Marvel Mystery Oil in gas

Well, got to say I'm impressed. Figured I'd try it after reading the RP AND MMO thread. I've ran a few tanks with the recommended 4oz to 10 gals. fuel, and I'm amazed how good the motor runs. Smoother idle, smoother acceleration (had a small hesitation on acceleration pre MMO. Gone!) . Smoother cruising at all speeds. And better throttle response at higher RPM's also. I use Mobil One not RP (I did not change the oil to try the MMO, it's not due). And as far as any increase in MPG goes, I could care less, the motor runs so much better it's ridiculous as far as I'm concerned(and I use Techron in it regularly). It only gets 10 now if I'm lucky, and since I already use the Mobil One, there is no way using RP will bring it up significantly anyway. All I care about is how much better it runs. Call me crazy, but I think it's worth the extra bucks to stick it in there every couple tanks , just for the performance increase.

As stated in the thread you read, it lubricates the injectors, which is very important.

Unless I'm wrong, isn't the Techron(which like I said use frequently) and Lucas that I have tried a few times suppose to do that too?

Marvell Mystery Oil. Several different people have claimed that it lubes the injectors and helps with mileage, overall engine condition, etc.

Enough people here that I trust have come forward saying its helped them, that I am going to pick myself up a bottle next time I'm in an auto store.

Yes, but Techron and Lucas also have additives to burn out carbon deposits in the combustion chamber.

I use two cycle oil that meets TCW3 standards in my trucks. One ounce per five gallons of gas. In the 87 318 the idle smoothed out and increased by 100 RPM in gear and milage went up 1 1/2 MPG in 300 miles. $12.00 a gallon at Wal-mart. It also lubes the fuel system and cleans combustion chamber and valve deposits.

Yes I do plan on still using the Techron.
