I dumped mine straight out of the cat

1.. I cut off the stock set-up about 2 feet behind the O2 sensor
2.. I removed the stock muffler and tail pipe over the rear axle
3.. I put a reducer on the stock pipe behind the cat to go from 2.5" to 3"
4.. I bolted on a flowmaster 40 series to the reducer
5.. Used some wire to hold the flowmaster in place
6.. tacked it all together

YOU WILL LOVE IT!

I am happy thus far...when I get more money I will put long headers on and dump the cats...but for now I am in DEQ area so I have to meet emissions.

I won't be able to take any until Monday...sorry! I am loading up the truck now for hunting this weekend.

It is not pretty cause it is all clamped...will look a lot nicer when I weld it all together.

I put the muffler as far back as I could to where the stock muffler was because I didn't want the resonate in the cab and just in the bed. Great idea...great outcome. With windows up and my music playing I barely hear the difference. Windows down...well that is another story!

I hear the drone pretty loud at 2000 rpms but other than it is great.
