They are at Fault, right?
was there actaully something wrong with the starter, i had to replace mine and it was a pita. actaully i bought a rebuild kit for 30, came with thicker copper and new plunger should last forever.
I never buy the cheap reman garbage if I can help it. If you have access to a good auto electric shop, they will rebuild your factory starter or alternator to a much higher level of quality than any reman. Plus, they'll give you a 2 year warranty in most cases, which beats the crap out of the 30 days you get with a cheap reman.
Talked to the managers this morning, and everything went very smoothly. Was able to get out of there under positive terms. The kid I was dealing with was just an absolute moron, trying to hit me up for something I didn't owe them. They installed a new starter with a lifetime warranty as MajorTrouble pointed out. It's just sad to know that some people out there would have paid them over $200 for something like that...I guess dealing with New England Transmission has sharpened my speaking skills lol, thanks guys.
Keep the receipt and have the title in hand...you need those when donating a vehicle a non profit organization...
Did I just say that? That was cruel but something is bound to happen again! I pray it doesn't for you...but...I think I'll win this bet.

Seriously. I would love to have a running total of how much all of these problems have cost. It has got to be a lot more than the truck is even worth. With the price of trucks now, I bet it is twice what the truck is worth.
if something does go wrong with the starter and they give you a hassle let me know I talked with the district today and he told me that you will be taken care of hope to see you in my vip sometime!
