And what is this thing you say is connected to the radiator hose? Are you talking about the heater hose that goes into the firewall or the hose that connects to the radiator?
i was talking about a hose that connects to the radiator. but nevermind that, i found out that the wetness on that hose was transmission oil . so im still in the quest for the lost coolant

Mine does the same thing. It's a '96 with only 33k original miles. I've never figured out where it goes. Could be space aliens, I guess.

You've had a lot of good suggestions on what to look for, I'm not suggesting you ignore them. There could be something wrong, but I have no idea what it is.

I suppose I should check the specific gravity of my coolant, and see if it's getting diluted over time.

LMAO! But I would still like to know what that "thing" is connected to the radiator hose? Could be an alien, but could also be the motor. :-)

that "thing" was transmission fluid. its a transmission fluid hose that connects TO the radiator. and the wetness was transmission fluid.
