Cyl 2 & 4 misfire
ok i have nop clue then i had that kind of problem and looked under the cap and saw that and got to looking at my wires and the DA that put them on, the little connector that clips on the cap was shoved up in the boot and was just arking enstead of connecting and thats what caused mine..... not dissing you work by no means but hey we are humans and we do make mistakes but i don't know let us know what you find!! good luck
I wonder how my orange grille would look on a blue truck? Maybe i should do it to my S10(which, by the way is the slow ***, gas sipping, work truck)
But lets stay on topic, I miss hearing the exhaust already!!
I followed this tread and i think you're in the right direction. You said that when you changed your cap and rotor that it ran fine for a moment?
Post your results of a compression test, that will give clarity on this subject.
Also, when you change your cap and rotor, change the spark plug & wires as well, costs not that much but then you know that you are safe on that matter (you have to do this anyway at some point in the life of the truck).
Hope this helps!
