i have a question. i just bought these same tires and i got them mounted but the place said they wouldnt put them on cause they would have to take resplendently for something if it happened and he said they wouldnt hold up. i was wondering if your tires are still holding up, or are in good shape.

I've heard and listened to everyones horror stories about retreads, but the fact is any tire, new or retread can blow when the conditions are right....under-inflated, over-weight being the main causes.
I've had mine on for 2 yrs now, bought 'em with taxes 2 yrs. ago, and i easily have 75% of the tread remaining. I haven't measured it, no, but theres obviously plenty of life left in the tire. I'm actually surprised at how slow they are wearing, and they haven't been rotated once. My back left has a screw in it, and a nail approx. 1 inch from the screw, and so far, aren't losing pressure lol. I offroad maybe 5-10 times a year, and rarely spin my tires on concrete, so they shouldn't be wearing too fast.
Only thing i've noticed, was this yr., there's slight cracking in one of the sidewalls, im guessing from the ice n sub-zero temps. Otherwise, I bought the ones with the kedge-grip and as far as i can tell, its doing its job. 480 dollars delivered to my door, and i've gotten 2 yrs out of em, including some highway driving when its 100 degrees out, towing a pop-up, when everyone says they blow. They've held for me, and i'll be buying the 33 inch tires hopefully next tax season :P

If they were dangerous then they wouldn't be DOT approved, if you look you will see the DOT mark on the new tread.
I got mine a year and a half ago and they're holding up really well with plenty of tread left. I did rip up a couple of the tread blocks a little bit on the rocks at a local off road park but it's less than 1/16 of an inch deep and other than that they look good.
They did take a fair amount of weight to balance and they are out of balance now because I believe the shop re-used weights when they were originally balanced. The weights for alloy rims have a little tang on the back of them that keeps them from slipping off and if you re-use them then they won't stay on as well as a new weight.
I've been up to 80 or 90 mph a few times and only spun them once or twice on pavement also for a just a couple feet so that helps the tread life.
Oh, they're also awesome in the rain.

This is intriguing. I have a Jeep Cherokee that is in need of new tires, and my Dodge has Dayton Timberlines on it, which I absolutely can't stand. It had them when I bought it is the only reason they are on there. The only bad thing is that they have quite a bit of tread left, so my wife probably won't let me change them out.
Of course, if I can sell them and get a couple of hundred bucks toward a new set of these recaps, that may work.
