Tires also.
You say you have off-road tires.
Are they taller than stock?
You loose some off-the-line time
with a taller tire. Gearing WILL
net him a win is he's grunting around
with 4.10's & your driving around with 3.55's.
Your muffler won't do squat except sound better
going down the track than his. You exhaust only flows
as well as your smallest restriction in the WHOLE system allows.
But,.. He's a buddy, have fun, enjoy.

How do you know he has 4.10 gears? Weight is a major player in drag racing. The 2500's will be a lot heavier than the 1500's. They have heavier frames, axles, etc.

well he does have 4 10s and i have 3 55s. but i am gonna put my other street tires on if we race so there skinier and such also not as heavy. but i think it will be a close race becuz of the weight difference to my advantage then the gearing to his advantage? but yes 3 out of 5 races is how i would do it.

get a video...I have a guess its gonna be on youtube titled "WTF?"
Nah I'd be interested but I got the K&N Round Air Filter, supper 44 flowmaster, and Ram 1500! I have a heavy canopy on though!
If your buddy would ignore my next comment you might have a slight advantage...buddy don't ready look away now!...some have said taking the OverDrive off will give you a VERY slight better take off than it on but I don't know if this is true or not or would help in any way!
Ok buddy...you can read now...nothing more to see!

sounds exactly what i plan on doing. do you think the super 44 is there best muffler? but yea i have a little added weight i got a bed cover and offroad tires with heavier rims then him and a big sub woofer in the cab but that shouldnt make to much difference but thats cool about the over drive ill have to see about that.
