You can't nominate yourself and personally, I don't nominate people who ask to be nominated. People should be picked because others like them or their truck enough to nominate them, not because they asked for it. That's just lame. Sorry, just being straight up.
Did you see this previous month's selections? The biggest upgrade, if I remember right, was one guy had nice tires. Three 99% stock vehicles.
Upgrades don't necessarily matter. Its if the guy is liked, if he takes care of his truck (it'll show, obviously), and (connected the the "well liked" part) if he contributes advice to people's problems when he can.
Hate to say it, but I also agree with Silver. Asking to be nominated disqualifies you from being nominated in my book, but I'm sure you could get someone here to do it for... shall we say, a small fee?

I truly don't think it should have anything to do with how many mods you have. Mods are nice, but it should not be limited to ONLY modded trucks. That's juvenile.. If a truck is just nice and clean, and looks good, that should make it truck of the month. It should not be a popularity contest of the owner, but just a dang nice truck.. Perhaps there should be a mod and a stock category.. maybe that would make it easier to make everyone happy. I dunno... I think stock is awesome..
